EXPERIMENTAL STUFF

Virtual Public Collaborative Media

While studying film arts in Paris, I completed a public collaborative media project using QR codes which I stuck up around the city, as well as published online, inviting anonymous participants to respond to the prompt ‘what’s on your mind?’ with a sentence and an accompanying video of their surroundings.

The responses are now archived on the public webpage. In this project, we use the bravely shared inner-most thoughts and feelings of the general public as data, seeking to understand whether or not we are truly ‘present’ in our modern environments, and even more, we seek to understand what the world really thinks and cares about.

I Didn’t Quite Catch That (2022)

Sometimes what we cut out is the most important stuff. And sometimes it’s just nonsense. You decide!

Psycho-geographic Video Experiment

I made this immersive video experiment for a Literature unit at university, during a section of the course that focussed on scholarship about psycho-geography (how humanity interacts with place)
